Yvonne Marie Mattingly, 89, of Portage, Ind., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 in Portage, Ind.
She was born July 27, 1935 to Herbert and Clarabelle (Fillion) Tolman in Chicago.
She married her husband, Charles, Nov. 22, 1972. He survives.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and gardening.
Survivors also include her son, Frank Lubash; daughter, Karen (Doug) LaFreniere; sisters, Mary Swan and Karen Mehok (Chuck); grandchildren: Austin LaFreniere (Kenzie) and Hope Tamez (Arnold), Kimmy Lubash and Virginia Lubash; and great-grandchildren: Hunter, Finn and Cora LaFreniere.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Claire Lubash; four brothers: James Tolman, Herbert Tolman, Kenneth Tolman and Robert Tolman; and sister, Patricia Antalics.
• Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2024 at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church at 2949 Willowcreek Road in Portage, Ind., with Father Kevin McCarthy presiding.
Burial will take place at Heritage Cemetery in Portage, Ind.
There will be a memorial visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church.
