Wanda Marie Morrell, 71, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2025 at her home in Tyrone, Okla.
She was born Sept. 7, 1953 to Kenneth Nelson and Carolyn (Daniels) Rittenhouse.
She married Scott Morrell May 24, 1972. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 2023.
She worked for 14 years as a feed truck driver for Hitch Feeders #1 before her retirement.
She enjoyed planting lilacs and vines for the hummingbirds, crocheting, and reading Christian romance novels.
Survivors include her children: Stacy (Mark) Vargas, Scott (Shannon) Morrell, Bryan (Kathie) Morrell, Christopher (Deborah) Morrell, and Skyler Nelson; grandchildren: Kenneth Morrell, Shaina Vargas, Kaschen Morrell, Karson Morrell, Colby Morrell, Brooke Morrell, Krystal Clark, DeeDee Brightel, Kathleen (Shawn) Bickford, JoAnna Beck, Jeanne Cookson, and Virginia (Taylor) Moore; and many other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Joseph Morrell.
• Per Wanda's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A family memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 at the Church of Christ in Hooker, Okla.
