Maria Del Socorro Lozoyo, 79, died Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her home in Liberal.
She was born Aug. 20, 1945 to Manuel Sandoval and Ana Maria Huerta.
She married Hermilo Lozoyo in Canoga Park, Calif. He survives.
She worked in maintenance for three years at Burger King and in fabrication for 10 years at National Beef.
Survivors also include son, Manuel Celedon and wife, Nohemi, Liberal; daughter, Virginia Hernandez and husband, Gregorio Hernandez, Guymon, Okla.; brothers, Manuel Sandoval, Guymon, Okla., and Jose Sandoval, Liberal; sisters, Bertha Pulido, Liberal, and Graciela Martinez, Guymon, Okla.; 11 grandchildren: Nathalie Celedon, Angel Celedon, Crystal Celedon, Stephany Galarza Celedon, Maria Elena Hernandez, Janet Hernandez, Jem Hernandez, Jennifer Hernandez, Alberto Hernandez, Ivan Hernandez, and Oscar Jr. Ayala; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Silvestre Hernandez; daughter, Sandra Ayala; brothers, Abundio Sandoval, and Raul Sandoval; and granddaughter, Karina America Ayala.

Rosary will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 1510 N. Calhoun Avenue in Liberal.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, with Reverend Charles Seiwert presiding.
Burial will follow at the Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.
