Felipe Chacon Herrera, 66, died Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Liberal.
He was born Jan. 2, 1959 to Antonio Chacon Jacobo and Bertha Herrera Delgado in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He was a loving husband and father, known for his dedication to his family and a man of unwavering faith. He was a hardworking man who always strived to do the right thing, and his legacy of love, faith, and integrity will continue to inspire.
He particularly enjoyed making chicharrónes.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Olivas; daughters, Selena Chacon Olivas, Chihuahua, Mexico, and Katia Belen Chacon Olivas, Chihuahua, Mexico; three brothers: Jose Antonio Chacon Herrera and wife, Rita of Chihuahua, Mexico, Estanislao Chacon Herrera and wife, Teresa, Chihuahua, Mexico, Jesus Chacon Herrera and wife, Imelda, Chihuahua, Mexico; and four sisters: Maria De los Angeles Chacon Herrera and husband, Gilberto, Chihuahua, Mexico, Yolanda Chacon Herrera and husband, Manuel, Albuquerque, N.M., Bertha Chacon Herrera and husband, Domingo, Liberal, and Veronica Chacon Herrera and husband, Adan, Pueblo, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jesus Chacon Herrera.
