ULYSSES – Tina Diane Metcalf, 51, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in Wichita.
She was born Feb. 5, 1974 to Donald and Debbie (Hubbell) Metcalf.
She graduated from Ulysses High School and the University of Kansas. She received her doctorate in optometry in Orange County, Calif.
She enjoyed working out, running and water skiing.
She was an avid reader and belonged to the Cancer Survivor Club.
Survivors include her father, Donald Metcalf; mother, Debbie Hubbell; sister, Jamie Metcalf; brother, Nicholas Metcalf; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hubbell and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Metcalf; and cousin, Johnny Howard.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Heartland Faith Church in Ulysses, with Pastor Pezzy Kudakwashe presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
