LAKIN – Haven Skye Curtis-Degollado died Monday, May 19, 2025 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Dec. 12, 2024 to Eyan Curtis and Faith Degollado in Kansas City, Mo.
Though her time here was brief, Haven touched countless lives with her strength, her spirit, and the deep love she inspired in those who knew her.
Survivors include her parents; sister, Evalie Curtis, Wichita; grandmother, Rebecca Garcia, Lakin; grandfather, Miguel Degollado, Ulysses; great-grandmother, Norma Pauda, Lakin; great-grandfather, Felix Degollado, Ulysses; aunt, Naomi Degollado, Amarillo, Texas; uncles, Valentino Degollado and wife, Jacquelynn, Hugoton, and Miguel Degollado Jr., Wichita; and cousin, Carlo Degollado.
She was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Robert Pauda; and great-grandmother, Vicenta Degollado Luna.
• Funeral services took place Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Lakin Assembly of God Church in Lakin, with Pastor Rafael Franco presiding.
Burial took place at Lakin Cemetery in Lakin.
