Joseph S. "Joe" Harvey, 63, died Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born May 8, 1962 to Wilbur and June (Keller) Harvey.
He married Carole Clemons. She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 2000.
He was the class president during his senior year at Southwestern Heights High School and graduated with the Class of 1980.
He worked as an Electrician for Harvey & Son Electric, where he apprenticed under his father, later taking over the business.
He had a love of Dobermans, vehicles and spending time with his family.
Survivors include fiancée, Rhonda Sumner, Liberal; daughter, Jade Brown and husband, Addam, Turpin, Okla.; stepson, Jerame Carson and wife, Cori, Hutchinson; stepdaughter, Kylie Carson and husband, Jim Seaman, Strasburg, Colo.; sisters, Diane Harvey, Liberal, and Suzanne Harvey, Buffalo, Okla.; granddaughter, Angel Brown, Turpin, Okla.; and five step-grandchildren: Hunter Carson, Morgan Carson, Cash Carson, Colton Seaman, and Jase Seaman.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
• Joe preferred a simple service with no public viewing.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2025 at the Arkalon Cemetery, with Pastor Rex Petty presiding
