HUGOTON – Barbara Nadine Beeks, 88, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her home in Hugoton.
She was born Sept. 30, 1936 to Robert and Claudine (Calahan) Long.
She married Garland E. Beeks Sept. 15, 2004. He survives.
She graduated from Rolla High School.
She was a farm wife and homemaker for 43 years before moving to Hugoton.
She later worked at House of Décor, Happiness Is, and the Senior Center,.
She attended Bethel Friends Church.
Survivors also include children: Teresa Braymen, Ray Lee Kallenbach and wife, Dana, Darel Kallenbach and wife, Susan, and Barbara Ann Campbell; brother, J.D. Long; sister, Linda Long; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Long and Rodney Long; sister, Patricia Long; grandson, Justin Craig Campbell; great-grandsons, Matthew Shedrick and Brett Knisley; and son-in-law, Dennis Campbell.
• Memorial services took place Monday, July 21, 2025 at Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Chris Stanfield presiding.
