Gloria Garcia Martinez de Gallo, 52, died Wednesday July 23, 2025 in Amarillo, Texas.
She was born Oct. 23, 1972 to Fransico Garcia Gonzalez and Emilia Martinez Barrera at Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
She married Jose Raul Gallo Barajas March 3, 1990. He preceded her in death Dec. 21, 2019.
She loved gardening and was a great cook, lovingly preparing meals in her home that would bring her family together.
She taught herself to crochet and would crochet for the new family members and her children.
She loved canaries and bred them for others.
Her favorite flower was the Sunflower.
Survivors include son, Jose R. Gallo, Liberal; three daughters: Karem M. Gallo Flores and husband, Daniel, Liberal, Maria S. Gallo and husband, Juan, Turpin, Okla., and Gloria Gallo and husband, Alberto, Tulsa, Okla.; four brothers: Adrian, Toño, Juan Carlos, and Ramiro; five sisters: Irma. Rocio, Carolina, Marlen, and Guadalupe; six grandsons: Raul “Rulo,” Jose Raul “Bubu,” Emiliano "Milo," Armando "Mando," Juan Carlos "Charlie," and Alejandro "Alej"; granddaughter, Jakzenny "Zenny."
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
• There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
Rosary services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, with the funeral mass following at 11 a.m. at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.
Burial will take place following the service at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
The family requests that flower arrangements be delivered to the church on Tuesday morning.
