Keith Sherman Polacek, 62, died Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Wichita.
He was born July 13, 1963 to Robert and Patsy Jean (Pickering) Polacek.
He graduated from Chester High School in Chester, Ill. in 1984.
He married Sharla Embry Nov. 7, 1987. She preceded him in death in May 2003.
He worked as a truck driver for Parrish Trucking in Freeburg, Ill.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Polacek and wife, Brynanna, Tennessee; stepson, Jason David Embry, Oklahoma City; four brothers: Donnie Polacek and wife, Mary Lou, Waterloo, Ill., Allan Polacek, Waterloo, Ill., Larry Polacek and wife, Lori, Fults, Ill., and Floyd Nottmeier of Fults, Ill.; four stepsisters: Angie Polacek, Waterloo, Ill., Teressa Polacek, Waterloo, Ill., Michelle Polacek, Waterloo, Ill., and Melissa Duran of Guymon, Okla.; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dewayne Polacek; and sister, Linda Davis.
