ULYSSES – Sara Lorine Myers, 85, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2025.
She was born Aug. 25, 1940 to William (Bill) and Esther Keene in Pea Ridge, Ark.
She married Robert Myers June 20, 1958. He survives.
She and Robert co-owned several successful businesses throughout the years, and she later served as the District Manager for Grant County Conservation District Office in Ulysses, where she worked until her retirement in 2010.
As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she had a gift for making those around her feel safe, valued, and deeply loved.
Survivors also include children: Deanna (Gary) Hurst, Brenda (Justin) Ford, and Bobby (Angela) Myers; sisters, Judy (Dawn) Gaff and Sharon (Joe) Budion; grandchildren: Jason (Korina) Ford, Jessica MacAuley (Johnny Francoviglia), Kellyn (Erick) Cardona, Brandon (Brittany) Ford, Cody Myers, Celeste (Jeremy) Danler, Crystal (Delores) Myers, Jaelynn (Hayden) Enyart, and Cadaince Myers (Tanner Luttig); along with many great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Lesley Keene; and sister, Wilma Myers.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025 at Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses, with Reverend Casey Chapman presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
