Tanya E. Romero, 54, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025 in Hugoton.
She was born June 6, 1971 in Bradford, Penn.
She was known for her good-hearted nature and her ability to connect with people.
She took great joy in caring for her grandchildren and spending time together, creating lasting memories while camping, fishing, and visiting the zoo and museums.
Survivors include her mother, Nellie Garcia, Hugoton; her husband, Richard Eugene Wright; son, Richard "Ricky" Wright and wife, Kayla, Liberal; daughter, Kirsty Wright; brother, Jimmy Maludin and his wife, Heather, Gulfport, Miss.; five grandchildren: Xavier Wright, Danielle Johnson, Isaiah Wright, Roxann Wright, and Richard "RJ" Wright; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Maludin Sr.; and her grandparents, Leo and Mary Romero.

Rosary services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton, with Father Terrance Klein presiding.
