Laraine May Duran, 76, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 at Wheatridge Care Park Care Center in Liberal.
She was born Dec. 3, 1948 to Lawrence and Mildred (Kaufman) Chapman.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading her Bible, and studying scripture.
She attended the Church of Christ in Liberal.
Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Hanika, Liberal; sons, Robert Ray Hanika and Troy Gonzalez; four sisters: Mary Archuletta, Susan Randall, Barbara Beason, and Dorothy Monroe; three grandsons: Dillon Hanika, Trenton Long, and Ashton Long; and great-grandchildren: Alana, Sage, Lincoln, and Maverick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Shirley McCurry and Evelyn Chapman.

A Celebration of Life Service may be announced at a later date.
