Phyllis Jean Gearhart, 94, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Liberal.
She was born Dec. 8, 1930 to Ralph and Amy (Hoskinson) Wilson.
She married Nelson Roy Gearhart Sept. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death.
She attended school in Williamsburg and Plains.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Kansas City Chiefs football.
Survivors include son, Ace Gearhart and wife, Twyla; daughter, Diane Conaway and partner, Delbert Kost; grandson, Cody Gearhart and wife, Ashley; sister, Judith Ann Collins; brothers, Eldon McCurdy and Mike Wilson; granddaughters, Angela Eichman and husband, Rubeno, and Rachel Vangieson; and many other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings.
• There will be no viewing or services.
Cremation has taken place.
