Paul David Lighty, 95, died Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
He was born Feb. 10, 1929.
He farmed west of Hugoton for many years.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of First Church of God in Hugoton.
Throughout his life and career as a truck driver and farmer, he touched the hearts of many with his dedication and hard work.
Survivors include stepchildren, Greg Avery and Michelle Lewis; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Anne Marie (Long) Lighty on May 23, 1971; second wife, Glenda Mae (Redd) Lighty on May 26, 2023; and sister, Beth Lighty Williams.
