ROLLA – Randy Abe Milton Randle, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 at his home in Rolla.

He was born Feb. 5, 1947 to Glen and Thelma (Dixon) Randle.

He married Gonza Barnes Dec. 19, 1987. She survives.

He graduated from Rolla High School.

He farmed and managed the Rolla Swimming Pool. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in physical education from Fort Hays State University. While at FHSU, he was a football letterman and member of the rodeo club. After college he taught and coached in Cunningham.

He went to work at the Cimarron Insurance Company in 1977. He also worked for Blakely Crop Hail, Fireman’s Fund and Farmer’s Mutual.

He enjoyed roping, hunting, taking trips with his wife, family and friends, and watching his Longhorn cattle.

Survivors include children: Sami Randle and fiancé, James Dreiling, Hays, Scott Randle and wife, Shelby, Piedmont, Okla., Danny Baker and wife, Frances, Temple, Texas, and Gwendolyn Lorenz and husband, Danny, Belton, Texas; sister, Annetta Dirks, WaKeeney; grandchildren: Henry, Maggie, James, Devin Cain and husband, Nathan, Dakota Lewallen and husband, Seth, Darby, Megan, and Sydney; great-grandchildren: Bailey, Casen, Cole, Lindon, Logan and Landry; and brother-in-law, Jack Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin Hughes; sisters: Nina Henson and husband, Wayne, Glenetta Cooper, and Vivian Quimby and husband, Dennis; and brother-in-law, Tobias Dirks Jr.

• Celebration of Life services took place Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Hugoton with Reverend Pascal Klein presiding.

Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 920 E. 11th St. Hugoton, KS 67951.
