Louise Herminda Cox, 76, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2026.
She was born Nov. 23, 1949 to Frank and Rebecca (Amijo) DeHerrera.
She loved to travel, ride horses, go camping, and embrace life’s adventures with joy and laughter.
She also enjoyed crocheting, creating blankets and handmade gifts.
Survivors include four daughters: Lorena DeHerrera, Liberal, Dora (Joe) Sieber, Liberal, Mary Ann (David) Batterman, Amarillo, Texas, and Jessica Maestas, Hooker, Okla.; brothers: Joe (Stephanie) DeHerrera, Clayton, N.M., Gene (Sylvia) DeHerrera, Guymon, Okla., Bobby (Ann) DeHerrera, Purcell, Okla., and Gary (Susie) DeHerrera, Guymon, Okla.; sister, Odilia (Epifanio) Sintas, Raton, N.M.; three grandsons: Jimmy Ortiz (Ryan Hebert), Amarillo, Texas, Caius Smith, Perryton, Texas, and Tavin Sieber, Oklahoma City; four granddaughters: Chelsey (Callie) McWhorter, Amarillo, Texas, Haley Smith (Mike Ayala), Perryton, Texas, Taylor Abbott, Liberal, and Teja Sieber, Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandsons, Auden Ayala and Corvo McWhorter; and great-granddaughter, Anya Ayala.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Frank DeHerrera.
• Cremation has taken place, and no visitation will be held.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
