DODGE CITY – Thomas David Mann, 77, died Friday, April 5, 2024 at his home in Dodge City.
He was born Jan. 29, 1947 to Jesse Edward and Thelma Webb (Pruett) Mann.
He married Shurlene Mitchell Dec. 5, 1992. She survives.
He worked various jobs, including being a bus driver for USD 443, farming, and meat cutting.
He enjoyed watching Western TV Shows, spending time with his family, and traveling.
Survivors also include his five children: Rex Mann and wife, Sherry, Granby, Colo., Artt Mann and wife, Lorna, Manhattan, Lance Mann and wife, Nedra, Skiatook, Okla., Shannon Mann, Dodge City, and Jacob Mann, Elk City, Okla.; sister, Susan Peters and husband, Ernest, Muscatine, Iowa; brothers, James Mann and wife Peggy, Overland Park, and Burton Mann and partner, Dawn Tree-Maas, Hugoton; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Linda and Sally Mann.
• Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorials are suggested to the Hugoton FFA and the Dodge City Animal Shelter both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.
