Lester “Les” Gerhard Windsor, 83, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at his home in Griffin, Ga.
He was born Sept. 18, 1940 in Turpin, Okla.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He loved God and his family, and his ministry included helping others stay sober for more than 41 years.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Barbara “Bobbi” Windsor; children: Jeffery Windsor (Dana), Michelle Dixon (Scott), Amy Droegmiller, Susan Marie Kolnowski (Steve), Raymond Donnan and Tammy Donnan; sister, Mary Ann Bush; grandchildren: H. Zen Droegmiller, Aubrey Droegmiller, Randi Lin Vandalen, Dennis Kolnowski (Nicole) and Cierra Dixson; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Lee Windsor and Anna Kroeker Windsor; son, Timothy Donnan; son-in-law, Todd Droegmiller; siblings: Floyd Windsor, Sam Windsor, Carl Windsor, Ruby Harrington, Lowell Windsor, Dora Windsor, and Joyce Thrasher.
o Memorial services took place Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Griffin, Ga., with Pastor Katie Pasch presiding.
