Jerry L Butler, 84, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Wheatridge Care Park in Liberal.
He was born Oct. 15, 1939 to James and Nettie (Patrick) Butler.
He married Judy Heller Sept. 16, 1961. She preceded him in death May 6, 2024.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include son, Michael Butler, Norton; brother, Charles Heller, Bemidji, Minn.; grandson, Hunter Butler, Liberal; three granddaughters: Madison Winters, Liberal, Phalyn Butler, Salt Lake City, and Hannah Butler, Liberal.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
• Per Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial at the Ft. Dodge Veteran's Cemetery will take place at a later date.
