MEADE – Ty Van Wasson, 33, died Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Wichita.
He was born March 30, 1991 to Barry and Deanna (Wallis) Wasson.
He attended school in Meade and was a member of the Class of 2010.
He enjoyed fishing, snow skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Daniel McAtee; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Wasson; maternal grandfather, Don Schlichting; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Hewas preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chester Wasson; maternal grandmother, Pat Schlichting; and paternal grandfather, Danny Wallis.
• Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Meade.
Burial will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Meade.
