Richard "Dick" Wayne Titus Sr., 81, died Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Hugoton.
He was born June 16, 1943 to Wayne and Lola (Hills) Titus.
He married Bonnie Kay Grubbs June 11, 1957. She preceded him in death Aug. 15, 1995.
He was a dedicated farmer and had a long career with Passmore Brothers of Hugoton.
He found joy in various hobbies and interests including coyote hunting, fishing, and watching high school basketball, football, and volleyball.
Survivors include son, Richard Wayne Titus Jr. and wife, Ginny, Hugoton; daughter, Tammy Greeson and husband, Eddy, Sharon Springs; three brothers: Douglas Titus and wife, Vaudine, Hugoton, Michael Titus and wife, Judy, Upland, Calif., and David Titus and wife, Bonnie, Blackrock, Ark.; sister, Carol Hutchins and husband, Jerald, Beatty, Ore.; sister-in-law, Charlene Titus, Hutchinson; grandchildren: Destrie Whitaker and wife, Stephanie, Sharon Springs, Kamrie Bozarth and husband, Dustin, Hugoton, Parker Titus and wife, Christa, Pratt, Vivian Titus, Haviland, Brighton and husband, Zion Doyle, Hugoton, Hudson Titus, Pratt, Levi Greeson and wife, Bethany, Norton, and Laci Greeson, Goodland; and great-grandchildren: Tiera, Tabor, Kyron, Kylynn, Rigs, Taygan, Kyson, Braxton, Kingstin, Lilian, Axl, Lawson, Cadence, Keegan, Paisley, Keanna, Lyla, and Dominic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Greenway; brother, George Titus; and great-granddaughter, Emma.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton, followed by a graveside service at the Hugoton Cemetery, with Pastor Richard Martin presiding.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton.
