L&T staff report
The race for the White House is not the only race in the Nov. 5 General Election. Voters will also be selecting members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and locally, there will be a race for the 38th Kansas Senate seat.
There is also a race for a local Seward County Commission District seat between Steve Helm and write-in candidate Bee Symons.
While there are only a few weeks until Election Day, there are deadlines for those who have yet to register. Anyone who has changed addresses needs to re-register, and those who have moved to Seward County from another location also needs to register to be eligible for the local election.
