MEADE – Meade District Hospital is pleased to announce a limited-time promotional discount in an effort to eliminate aging accounts.
Effective immediately and continuing through Tuesday, Dec. 31, eligible patients can benefit from a 50 percent discount on hospital balances over $250 for services provided on or before June 30. To receive the discount, the patient must pay the total balance during the promotional period.
Promotional Discount Eligibility Guidelines
Eligibility and Discount: Patients with hospital balances of $250.00 or greater for service dates up to and including June 30, 2024, will receive a 50 percent discount on their balance when paid in full during the promotional period.
• Only hospital balances qualify for the limited-time promotional discount. This offer excludes clinic and nursing home balances.
• To receive the 50 percent discount, all eligible balances on an account must be paid in full. For example, if a patient has balances on three accounts, all three must be settled to qualify for the discount.
• Eligible balances that qualify for the 50 percent promotional discount cannot receive any additional discounts.
• Previous paid balances for services prior to June 30 are not eligible for a discount or refund.
• Any insurance claim for services prior to June 30 that is not resolved prior to the Dec. 31 deadline will be eligible for the 50 percent discount within 30 days of the first statement showing the final balance owed. Patients must call to take advantage of this offer.
Non-Eligible Accounts
• Hospital balances under $250 (If the patient has multiple balances with a combined total of $250 or greater, they will be deemed eligible).
• Balances owed with service dates after July 1.
• Accounts previously turned over to a collection agency.
How to Redeem: Patients must call the Meade District Hospital Business Office at (620) 873-2141 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), to review accounts and receive the promotional discount quote.
