The world premiere of “Flipping Pancake Day” will take place  from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at the Liberal Southgate 6 movie theater.

The film’s creative team is planning a special red carpet event with food and drinks to celebrate the occasion and give back to the community. The event is free to the public.

A quick overview of the day’s schedule:

• 4 to 5 p.m.: Red carpet arrivals/photos/drinks and snacks

• 5 to 6 p.m.: Film screening (including bonus content)

• 6 to 6:30 p.m.: Q&A session with the creative team

• 6:45 to 7 p.m: Wrap-up at the theater

• 7 p.m: Join the creative team at a local restaurant/bar to continue the celebration (TBD)

The screening will feature about an hour of Pancake Day content, including the main 20-minute 'film festival version' and a special “community piece” highlighting more interviews, beautiful shots of Liberal, and the spirit of Pancake Day.
