The 4th of July Parade committee is thrilled to announce the exciting festivities happening at Light Park this year!
One of the highlights will be the Little Miss Firecracker Contest, a fun and spirited event for children in three age divisions.
• Ages 2 through 4
• Ages 5 through 8
• Ages 9 through 12
This year, there will be a $10 registration fee, and space is limited – only 10 contestants will be accepted per division, so don't wait to sign up! To register, visit with Candy Garcia at City Hall.
Contestants will be judged in the following categories:
• Patriotic Attire
• Stage Presence
• Personality
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, June 27 in the commons area at the Liberal Recreation Department. Important details regarding performance times and contest logistics will be shared at that time.
