“The Western Kansas Community Foundation inspires and fulfills promises for a thriving Western Kansas,” WKCF Board Chair Marvin Graber said. “We aspire to be the region’s hub for philanthropy, connecting donors to causes they care about. WKCF board members are critical to the success of these efforts by overseeing the short- and long-term fiscal, programmatic, and governance goals of the organization. “

In its selection of board members, WKCF seeks representation from Western Kansas’s diverse constituencies. Board members believe in the power of collective giving to address the region’s greatest challenges.

With more than 200 funds established by individuals, families, and businesses, WKCF promotes the belief that each contribution can make a difference in its own unique way. Through WKCF, people who care about Western Kansas can exert lasting influence on the places they call home.

Western Kansas Community Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Members serve a three-year term with the option of renewal. Applications are received through the organization’s website atwkcf.org. Individuals may nominate themselves or others for board service.
