Local creators are invited to participate in the upcoming International Pancake Day Art Show, a featured event of the 2026 Pancake Day festivities. This year’s theme, “Stacks of Tradition, Flipping into the Future,” encourages artists to celebrate the rich history of the event while imagining what lies ahead.
Exhibition Details
The art show will be Tuesday, Feb. 17. The exhibition will take place at the Seward County Activity Center during the annual Pancake Day Breakfast.
Submission Guidelines
Deadline: All entries are due by February 6, 2026.
Drop-off: Pieces must be delivered to Heritage Real Estate.
Requirements: Submissions must be original, school-appropriate, and follow the official theme.
Documentation: An entry form must be included with each piece.
Labeling: The artist’s name and division must be clearly labeled on the back of the work.
Competition Divisions
Artists will compete within five age-specific categories:
Primary: Ages 5–7
Elementary: Ages 8–10
Intermediate: Ages 11–13
Teen: Ages 14–17
Adult: Ages 18+
