The International Pancake Day Committee, in an attempt to engage the community, has brought back a scavenger hunt type of event aptly called the Flapjack Find.
Participants can download a form at pancakeday.net or pick one up at the Pancake Day Hall of Fame. Once participants have their form, then then explore local businesses listed on the form, in search of a flapjack. Remember, it could be hidden in plain sight. Once the flapjack has been found, all that is required is an employees signature next to the business name.
There are some business that have a “Golden Flapjack,” and if that flapjack is found, the lucky individual will receive a special gift from that business.
Do not move, remove, or handle the flapjack. Once the form is filled and completed, return it to the Pancake Day Hall of Fame on or before Feb. 11, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to be entered into a prize drawing.
