Southwest Medical Center
15th Street Family Care Center is proud to welcome LaSasha Rosales, APRN, FNP-C, as a bilingual nurse practitioner providing comprehensive family medicine services to the Liberal community.
Rosales is a Liberal native who has lived and worked in the community throughout her life. She is a 2006 graduate of Liberal High School and earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Seward County Community College in 2012. She later obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing from Walden University, becoming a family nurse practitioner.
Rosales brings more than 13 years of experience at Southwest Medical Center, where she primarily worked in the Intensive Care Unit. Her professional background also includes experience in oncology, school-based nursing, hospice and home health, providing her with a broad and well-rounded clinical foundation.
“During my 13 years at Southwest Medical Center, I saw firsthand how important accessible, preventive, and compassionate care is for patients and families,” Rosales said. “Earning my master’s degree allowed me to expand the scope and impact of the care I provide and better support my community.”
Rosales chose nursing as a way to serve and support her community and became a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide more comprehensive, accessible and preventive care for individuals and families of all ages.
“My philosophy of care is rooted in compassionate, culturally responsive, patient-centered medicine,” Rosales said. “I am committed to listening, educating and partnering with my patients so they feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their healthcare decisions.”
She hopes to educate the community by promoting healthy lifestyle changes and maintaining open lines of communication, ensuring patients feel heard, supported and empowered in their care.
Rosales is married to her husband, Miguel, and is the proud mother of Keith and Aaliyah, whom she enjoys supporting at their sporting events. She hopes her educational journey serves as an inspiration to her children and others, demonstrating that with determination and perseverance, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Rosales will be providing family medicine services at 15th Street Family Care Center, located at 555 W. 15th Street in Liberal. She is currently accepting new patients and accepts most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare and Kansas and Oklahoma Medicaid.
