In honor of Junteenth, Faith Tabernacle Church will host a celebration to commemorate the holiday, which celebrates the end of slavery.
A speech by Dr. Ben Carson, a former pediatric neurosurgeon when he spoke at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., will be shown to the public Wednesday, June 19 at Faith Tabernacle Church at 514 N. Kansas Ave. starting at 6 p.m. A supper with grilled burgers and fixings will be provided.
