For the second time in a matter of weeks, Donald Trump was in the sites of a would-be assassin.
This time, the shooter didn’t get off a round, but Trump’s life was again only seconds away from being taken.
And yet, no one has taken a shot at Joe Biden, or Kamala Harris or even Barack Obama.
That seems to fly in the face of what we have been told and who is actually providing the dangerous language that is leading to assassination attempts.
The media and Democrats have claimed that Trump is providing dangerous language about the election, saying he is calling for a “bloodbath” if he loses.
When Trump was talking about China building cars in Mexico and then selling them in America, here is what Trump said: “We’re going to put a 100 percent tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars. If I get elected. Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath, for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars.”
Clearly, he was talking about an economic bloodbath, but all the Democrats need is for him to say one word they can manipulate.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have both repeated the debunked claim that Trump was defending white supremacists when he said there “were good people on both sides” after an altercation in Charlottesville about removing a Robert E. Lee statue.
Trump’s actual response was “There were very fine people on both sides, and I’m not talking about the Neo-nazis and white supremacists because they should be condemned totally.”
But they only repeat that “fine people on both sides” part of the quote.
Even factcheck.org rated the statement that Trump did not condemn white nationalists as false.
But all the far left needed was a piece of a sentence they could manipulate.
By misquoting Trump, the far left is painting a target on Trump, and shooters are starting to take the far left’s hints.
But these are just the beginning.
Democrats Maxine Waters said, “I will go and take Trump out tonight,” and Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren encouraged violence when she said someone should “take him out now,” referring to Trump.
Other people on news programs have suggested similar actions, and now the mentally unstable are responding.
In a 2015 MSNBC interview, Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson said “they’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, and that’s a fact.”
When Trump lived at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Madonna said, “I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
Kathy Griffin held a severed head of Donald Trump.
But what’s worse is what the left has actually done beyond their rhetoric.
The impeachment sham, the Russia hoax, the court cases, the fictitious claims that Trump would be a dictator and never leave the presidency, and that Trump is a threat to democracy are all examples of how the far left has decided that an assassination of Trump is in the best interest of America.
Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin has even stated that if Trump were to win the presidency but Democrats take the majority of Congress, they would not certify the election on Jan. 6 on the grounds that Trump is not eligible to be president based on the 14th Amendment. He went on to say that if those actions lead to civil war, then the nation should prepare for civil war.
All of this indicates the Democrats on the far left have no interest in democracy.
Their sole goal is to win.
Socialist Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders said Kamala Harris is only saying what she needs to say right now to get elected. After that, she can go back to being the most Marxist president in the history of the nation.
The claims for civility and to tone down the rhetoric are not followed up by actually bringing the temperature down.
After Trump was nearly assassinated at a rally, where a bullet glanced his ear rather than penetrating his forehead, there was a claim of tamping down the fiery rhetoric.
But that talk was immediately followed with more attack-dog speech and continued claims that Trump is a danger.
No matter who wins the election, the country will remain evenly divided. That means half the country strongly disagrees that Trump is a threat. To the contrary, they believe he is uniquely qualified to address the challenges facing the country.
That is a losing proposition for Democrats, so they have to create a monster where none exists. It’s a lot easier to run against the bogeyman than it is to run against a man with a strong record on the economy.
How can anyone take Kamala Harris seriously when she says we need to unite the country and then uses tactics that are intentionally misleading and divisive?
This election will determine for a generation whether or not freedom can defeat socialism from within.
Socialism never wins a fair fight. And that’s why socialist fights are never fair. Through deception, lies and tribal warfare, socialists pit people against each other and are willing to do whatever they believe is necessary to further the socialist agenda.
There are no rules. If you have to use the courts, use them. If you have to stuff the ballot boxes, stuff them. If you have to convince the people to believe that the freedom candidate is a threat and only a bullet will do, that works, too.
