Posts on X (formerly Twitter) are sharing a bizarre reaction to the Donald Trump victory last week.

From women cutting off all their hair to wearing blue bracelets, from suggestions to divorce any man who votes for Trump to women getting their tubes tied so they can’t get pregnant, the reaction has been somewhat over the top.

Conspiracy theories have cropped up as well. Apparently Elon Musk’s Starlink hacked in to the election system and destroyed 10 million Democratic ballots, and millions of Democrats didn’t have their absentee votes counted and are expecting to be able to reissue another ballot to make up for the first one.

Some Democrats are even calling for a hand recount.

It’s amazing that whoever loses claims voting irregularities, but only Republicans were “election deniers” four years ago. Democrats challenging the 2024 result or patriots seeking to preserve democracy.

While those on the fringe will do what those on the fringe will do, the mainstream usually tells a more sane version of accounts, or at least that’s what is expected.

But the far left media has continued their challenge of the election results on different grounds — America is a mysogynistic, racist nation.

Their evidence?

A minority woman was on the ballot and lost, and since she was superior in every way, the only explanation has to be racism and sexism.

This misses the mark on what the Equal Rights movement and the Civil Rights Movement were all about.

There was a time when women weren’t allowed to vote or run for public office. There was a time when Blacks were held against their will in slavery, and even after slavery ended processes were implemented to prevent them from being able to freely participate in society and in elections.

There has been great effort in overcoming these unjust practices, and we have seen an increase in the number of women and minorities who have served in elected office.

What is the purpose of the battle for equality?

Clearly, it is enshrined in the name — equality.

Across this nation voters had a choice between a man and a woman, a white person and a person of color.

Kamala Harris was running not only against Donald Trump but against history. Never in the history of keeping track of polls has the incumbent party ever been re-elected with such low numbers of approval. Never has an incumbent party ever been re-elected with polls this low on the economy or with inflation rates as high as they rose under this presidency.

All the indicators were no matter who was the opposition candidate, they would likely win.

But the media, which is controlled by the Democratic Party since 90 percent of journalists are Democrat, would have you believe that racism and sexism decided the election.

If that were the case, then any time there is a choice between a man and woman, a minority and a caucasian, the only non-racist, non-sexist choice is to vote for the minority woman.

In other words, to prove you are not racist or sexist, you should vote based on race and sex.

Sounds crazy, I know, but that is the case being made right now across the nation and on social media.

That’s not what equality means.

Equality means we have minorities and women on ballots and rates that continue to increase.

I have voted for both over the years, and I have voted against both over the years.

Does that make me a part-time sexist?

Of course not.

If we truly believe in equality, then we would never use sex or race as a basis for our vote.

Donald Trump received the highest amount of the minority vote than a Republican has in more than 60 years.

That’s why it wasn’t enough to just claim racism about Trump, which is unfounded on its own, but now they had to throw sexism into the mix, because Black men came out in stronger numbers for Trump than any Republican in more than half a century.

These guys must be sexists. That is the only explanation to these dividers, because it couldn’t be based on the issues.

Your identity, not your record, not your positions, not your personality — your physical characteristic attributes, are the only thing that should define how you vote, according to these Democrats who are shaving their heads and wearing blue bracelets.

Why can’t a woman be a person who can judge for herself which candidate will make her life better? Why can’t a person of color weigh the issues and decide who might be best equipped to handle the border crisis or the economy?

What happened to merit?

As much as Trump was attacked for his attitude, Harris was attacked for her record.

But according to the pundits, she ran a “flawless” campaign?

Flawless? Like telling people of faith they are at the wrong rally? Like never holding a real press conference? Like paying Oprah Winfrey $1 million to participate in her rally? Like asking the crowd to chant their own names and the room goes silent? Like picking Tim Waltz as her running mate?

There were flaws aplenty, and eventually Democrats will reach whatever stage of grief it is that allows them to self reflect and see how they can be more appealing to voters rather than trying to tell voters to only use race and sex as their criteria.

Maybe voters wanted prices in the grocery store to return to normal, or to return to sanity at the southern border.

We can’t overcome true racism and sexism by using those as criteria when voting.

Equality is being blind to those characteristics and focusing on the issues, on the ability of the candidate to achieve the outcomes the voters want.

The only thing true about what the left media is selling is that racism and sexism still exist. What they don’t understand is that they are helping keep it alive by voting based on race and sex.
