In what is considered perhaps one of the most consequential presidential debates since Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will square off Thursday in what is considered to be a “home game” for Biden.

After all, the moderators are CNN news anchors Dana Bash and Jake Tapper. Both have made comparisons between Trump and Hitler, and Tapper stands by hist coverage and position that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.

Having those two as the moderators would be like having Travis Kelce judging a beauty contest between Taylor Swift and anyone else.

Trump is not only going to be debating Biden, but he will also be debating moderators who will be tossing softball to Grandpa Joe and daggers at Trump.

I will be counting how many times the moderators and Biden say “convicted felon” and how few times they mention “too forgetful to prosecute.”

Still, Trump didn’t shy away form the debate. He said, anytime, anywhere, and the Biden campaign pounced on the opportunity to make it a lopsided contest.

But Trump is a honey badger. He really doesn’t care much about the opposition. If he has to burrow into the ground and get stung along the way he will do it, but he will also get to the honey.

When Trump enters hostile territory in Atlanta Thursday, with no crowd, which means no energy in the room, with no notes and no way to talk to advisors, he will be who he always is.

Biden, on the other hand, is not an off-the-cuff kind of guy. When he gets lost, he tends to say, “Well, anyway.” Let’s see how many times we hear that Thursday.

We also won’t hear Biden list a lot of names of the women who have been raped and murdered by illegal immigrants.

I fully expect Trump will, even if it is to answer Bash’s question, “Mr. Trump, you’ve been found guilty of sexual assault. Why should women vote for you?”

Remember, it was a civil case brought by a woman who couldn’t remember the year the alleged incident occurred, in New York, and got a jury to reach a guilty verdict without a witness or even a memory of the event.

This is what Trump will be up against Thursday, so let me provide some free advice to the Trump campaign on how to answer the ridiculous questions we can expect like this from Bash and Tapper.

On this question, here is how Trump should respond:

“Thank you Dana, for the question. Instead of wasting Americans time on civil suits that are still under appeal, let me take this time to recognize families who are suffering tonight because their wives and daughters have been raped, sexually assaulted and killed because of Joe Biden’s border policy.  From Laken Riley to the mother of five children, Rachel Morin and countless others, families have been destroyed because Biden has prioritized illegal immigrants over women’s safety in this country. To all those mothers and daughters grieving the loss of their loved one I can tell you tonight this national nightmare will come to an end when I am elected president and can once again make it safe for the women of this country to safely go on a jog or take their kids to a park or enjoy an evening out without fear of an illegal immigrant stalking and assaulting or killing them.”

CNN Question No. 2: “Why should voters trust you when you tried to overthrow the government to remain in power?”

TRUMP: “A Rasmussen poll after the 2020 election showed that if voters knew about Hunter’s laptop, they wouldn’t have voted for Biden. But you not only suppressed the truth, you actually advocated the false narrative. Now that laptop has been used as evidence against Hunter Biden. Jake, you continue to support your coverage even though the FBI has admitted it is Hunter’s laptop. There are many questions about that election and the role the media played in it. But the American people aren’t concerned with 2020. They are worried about buying groceries today. Paying the mortgage today. Trying to fuel their cars up today. They know we had low inflation, high wages and low gas prices during my presidency. And they are getting a chance to correct what happened in 2020. And it won’t be enough to be close. We are going to have to make it too big to rig. We can’t have another four years of the failed Biden Administration.”

CNN Question No. 3: “You took documents form the White House that didn’t belong to you and are now facing charges and some saying you will be a dictator as president. Why would the American people trust you in the White House again?

TRUMP: “That’s a great question. The judge in the case has already discovered that the government officials planted ‘Top Secret’ signs on the documents to take photos for you all to have. It was a show to raid my home and distract the American people from the true crime happening in the White House. The American Dream is being stolen from young people who can’t afford to buy a new home because of all the regulations and runaway inflation Biden ushered through. The real crime is the complicit media ignoring the damage being done every day by continuing to spend more money than the government takes in, increasing our national debt. The real crime is favoring foreign nations over our own in job creation. The real crime is the inner city neighborhoods in Chicago, Baltimore, New York and Philadelphia losing their public spaces to illegal immigrant encampments, and providing benefits to illegals that our citizens can’t get. The documents will get worked out, but the disruption in people’s lives under Biden, they’ll never get those years back.”

Prediction: The Honey Badger wins.
