The eighth grade Apaches took on Dodge City Middle School Thursday. The Apaches won the game 33-28. The Apaches were led by Darion Denton with 15 points six rebounds and three steals.

There were two other major contributors for the Apaches with nine points, six rebounds and two assists from Francisco Cardenas and seven points and two steals from Xaadin Navarro. The Apaches will look to ride the momentum of the win this Saturday against Great Bend and Hays.

The Seymour Rogers seventh grade Apaches kicked off their season with an impressive win against Dodge City.

The scoring was opened by Kaden Olvera with a two-point shot, followed by Aiden Aragon and Brandon Maldonado who each added two points. The Apaches relied on teamwork to maintain their scoring momentum. In the fourth quarter, Devonte Denton contributed another two points.

The entire team played with determination, resulting in a final score of 33-19, securing a well-earned victory for the Apaches.
