The Lady Redskins competed in the 6A West Tennis Regional, where Liberal would take fourth overall as a team.
Individual placers/state qualifiers include:
Evelin Tarango would go 3-1 taking fifth place.
Lynette Alonso / Giselle Mesta would go 2-2 taking sixth.
“All of our girls played great and battled the entire time,” Liberal coach Sergio Borjas said. “We came up short of qualifying all six, but we’re excited for what is to come. The girls are excited to play at State this next week and represent Liberal proudly.”
