Glennetta Beatrice (Randle) Cooper, 88, died Saturday, April 13, 2024.

She was born Sept. 11, 1935 to Glen and Thelma (Dixon) Randle.

She married John (Jack) Cooper July 29, 1952. He survives.

She was a homemaker and was also a babysitter for some of the Tyrone school teachers.

She was a talented seamstress, sewing dresses, prom dresses and cheerleading outfits for the girls.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Survivors also include three daughters: Beth and Jerry Shilling, Kingfisher, Okla., Jackie and Lloyd Stevens, Tyrone, Okla., and Tammie Sherrill, Tyrone, Okla.; sister, Annetta Dirks; brother, Randy and Gonza Randle; grandchildren: Jason and Kara Shilling, Brooke and Jay Caffey, Rob and Lindsay Stevens, Ryan and Lindsay Sherrill, Tyler Sherrill and Rachel Vangieson; and great-grandchildren: Evan and Karson Shilling, Caden Cruz, Macie Caffey, Kaysen, Havynn, Ember and Hartley Stevens, Camden and Carter Sherrill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kevin Stevens; granddaughter, Kloe Cabela Stevens; son-in-law, Alan Sherrill; and sisters, Nina Henson and Vivian Quimby.

• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Tyrone Cemetery in Tyrone, Okla.

Memorials are suggested to Tyrone Cemetery, Hooker Ambulance Fund or Health Watch Hospice with the funeral home accepting the donations.
