CIMARRON – Sandra L. Jordan, 59, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at The Shepherd’s Center in Cimarron.
She was born May 19, 1964 to Gerald Eugene and Lois Mae (Pribbeno) Kerr.
She was a 1982 graduate of Cimarron High School and in 2014, she received her Master of Science degree from Fort Hays State University.
She worked as a substitute teacher in many area schools including in Larned, Pratt, Wallace County, Sublette and Liberal.
She was a member of the Cimarron Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Susan Mahurin, Dodge City; sister-in-law, Helen Kerr, Cimarron; nieces and nephews: Jennifer Hill, Garden City, Jason Kerr and wife, Ashley, Derby, Amanda Kolb and husband, Shawn, Liberal, and Megan Ross, Wichita; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Kerr; and infant child, baby Jordan.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Cimarron Methodist Church in Cimarron with Pastor Keven D. Reed officiating.
Burial will follow at the Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel in Cimarron, with the family present from 4 to 7 p.m.
