Corina A. Vasquez, 89, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2024 in Ulysses.

She was born June 13, 1935, in Hunter, Texas.

Known for her love of Bingo, word searches, cooking, and watching her family dance, she brought joy and laughter to every gathering. Her ability to create warm, inviting spaces made her home a hub for family activities and celebrations.

She is survived by her four sons: Ysidoro Vasquez and wife Lynn, Phoenix, David Vasquez and wife, Dee, Woodward, Okla., Carlos Vasquez and wife, Donna, Woodward, Okla., and Albert Vasquez and wife, Valerie, Lubbock, Texas; three daughters: Christina Rivas, Ulysses, Corina Carabajal, Woodward, Okla., and Maria Vasquez and husband, Arturo Rivas, Ulysses; brother, Stil Guerrero; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons: Armando Salgado, Abel Vasquez, and Epifaino Vasquez; and six siblings.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at Robson Funeral Home in Ulysses.
