Curtis Lee Haehn, 61, died Aug. 10, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born Dec. 9, 1962 to Claude Lee and Audrey Faye Grace.
He served in the U.S. Army, where he was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne.
After his military service, he embarked on a career at AMF Tubascope in Houston, and later relocated to Hugoton, where he worked for KDOT until his retirement.
An avid outdoorsman, he relished his time fishing and hunting with his family and simply being in nature, activities that brought him much joy and peace.
He loved bluegrass music and liked to play bluegrass on his guitar. His love for music was profound, often playing the cornet and guitar.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Haehn; brother, George Haehn and wife, Stephanie, Amarillo, Texas; sisters, Sheryl Lehmann and husband, Kevin, Gulfbreeze, Fla., and Carol Cadenhead, Dumas, Texas; nieces and nephews: Brandt, Jhon, Jacob, Joesph, Braden, Breanna, Danielle, Bella, Kaileigh, Cassie, Tana, Bridgett; and many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loyd Ellis Haehn and Claude Alan Haehn; grandparents: George and Rosa Grace, Curtis Cranston Haehn and Arla Patton; and nephew, Justin Clinesmith.
• Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at the Church of God in Hugoton, with burial to follow at Barden Cemetery north of Guymon, Okla.
