MEADE – Treston Scott Cook, 22, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at his home in Meade.

He was born Aug. 30, 2002 to Scott and Shelly (Cooper) Cook.  

He graduated from Meade High School in 2020. During his high school years, he was involved in several sports and clubs, including Skills USA.  

He worked in retail sales for the Meade Locker.

He was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church of Meade and enjoyed gaming, fishing, hunting, was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents; four sisters: Tasha Cooley, Tanya Knott, Taylor Kroth and husband, Weston, and Tierney Cook; and eight nieces and nephews: Makenzie, Laken, Tyson, Rowlin, Kinley, Woodrow, Dutton, and Steely.

• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at the Meade High School Gymnasium in Meade.  

Burial will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Meade.  

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, sept. 10, 2024 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.

Memorials are suggested to the Treston Cook Memorial Fund in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
