Larry L. Davolt, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
He was born June 15, 1941 to Lewis and Clara Bell Davolt.
He married Betty Gillaspie Sept. 21, 1983. She preceded him in death.
He attended Yarbrough High School and graduated in 1959. He then went on to attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
He was a farmer and farmed his family’s land the majority of his life.
He was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Elkhart.
He enjoyed being with Betty, reading his Bible, watching old westerns, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was an amazing woodworker and could build just about anything.
Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Cooper and Susie Cooper; sons-in-law, Kenneth Hipp and Raymond Knabe; five grandchildren: Jada Garza and husband, Alfredo, Coty Cooper, Brittny Cooper, Sara Knabe, and Colton Cooper; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters, Cindy Cooper and Sherry Knabe.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart, with Pastor Ed Richards presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
