Loretta Faye Robinson, 83, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at her home in Garden City.
She was born Feb. 25, 1941 to Kenneth Wilson and Hazel Baker.
She married her husband, Don, in 1959. He preceded her in death.
She loved to sing country music and was a frequent singer at the Fiddlers and Pickers and even sang with a band, The Smokey Hill Ramblers.
She was also an animal lover and was involved with the local Humane Society at times and any stray would be welcomed in her home.
Survivors include son, Rodney and Denise Robinson; siblings: Shirley Roberts, Billie Mickey, Richard Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Gordon Wilson; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karleen Huber; sister, Elaine Mohler; and great-granddaughter, Shelby Novack.
• A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
There will be no visitation.
