ULYSSES – Norman Hensley, 65, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at his home in Ulysses. 

He was born Dec. 29, 1958 to Patrick and Nancy (Hall) Davis. 

He married Tammie Blalock July 17, 1993. They moved to Ulysses in 1997, and he worked at Garden City Co-op. 

He retired in May 2024 as the manager of the Hickok Elevator. 

He loved fishing, camping and watching the Denver Broncos and Oklahoma Sooners football teams. 

He was also an animal lover and rescued many cats.

Norman is survived by his wife, Tammie; son, Sean Hensley; daughters, Paige Crombie and Catherine Jacobsen; brother, Tony Davis; sisters, Tawnja Davis and Jackie Davis; and granddaughter, Lily Hensley. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick Davis; and sister, Sherry Crombie.

• The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
