ELKHART – Nathan Wesley “Wes” Bressler, 87, died Wednesday, Dece. 18, 2024 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart. 

He was born July 7, 1937 to Norval and Annabelle (Cundith) Bressler.

He married Roberta (Bobbie) Henry Dec. 27, 1959, in Elkhart. She preceded him in death.

He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1955 and later attended the University of Kansas for a semester. 

He worked at Cessna in Wichita for multiple years before farming with his dad. 

He served on many boards and committees in his community.

He was a member of the Masons and the Methodist Church.

He spent a lot of time attending his grandchildren’s activities and events.

He enjoyed his time at Elkhart Senior Center delivering for Meals on Wheels for 14 years, playing Bingo, cards and shooting pool.

Survivors include his daughter, Traci O’Hanlon and husband, Stephen, Elkhart; brother, Robert Bressler, San Antonio; nine grandchildren and their families: Dustin O’Hanlon and wife, Amber, and their children, Breckynne, Brennan and Hadley: Kaleb O’Hanlon and wife, Allee, and their children Balek, Atlas and one on the way: Amber Berman and children, Rex and Jack: Jaycob and wife, Meredith, and children: Ever, Echo and one on the way; Tanille Bressler, Braxton Bressler, Zachery O’Hanlon, Benjamin O’Hanlon and wife, Chloei, and children, Ava and Everlyn; and Brock Bressler.      

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and son, Reid.

o Graveside services took place Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
