Doris Faye Desrochers, 84, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She was born Oct. 14, 1940, in Foss, Okla.

She dedicated many years of her life to the restaurant and entertainment industries, working for D and D Restaurant and managing Lindberg Lanes at Sublette.

She enjoyed bowling, and dancing, and cherished the simple pleasure of watching movies.

She also had a green thumb and loved planting a big garden.

Her family was her greatest treasure, and she found immense joy in their milestones and everyday lives.

Survivors include son, Jeff Desrochers and wife, Robin; daughter, Cindy Long and husband, Alan; sister, Florene Romesburg and husband, Jerry; brothers, Bobby Clymer and Wesley Clymer; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved companion, Veryle Story; daughter, Penny Long; granddaughter, Sierra Little; brothers, Gerald and Floyd Clymer; sister, Linda McCary; and sister-in-law, Yolanda Clymer.

• Friends may call from 12 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at Robson Funeral Home in Satanta.

Celebration of Life services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Robson Funeral Home in Satanta.

Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette.

Memorial has been established for the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 747, Satanta, KS 67870.
