Doris Ann House, 84, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in Liberal.
She was born Nov. 16, 1940 to Phillip and Mabel (Bennett) Schultz in Las Vegas, N.M.
She married Granville Layfette House. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She worked as a cashier at Walmart for several years.
Survivors include sons, Darin House and wife, Laura, Tyrone, Okla., and Roy House, Tyrone, Okla.; four grandchildren: Joshua House, Tyrone, Okla., Austin House, Marysville, Conner House, Marysville, and Lynell Barnes and husband, Zach, Yukon, Okla.; and 11 great-grandchildren: Kevin House, Joplin, Mo., Zachary House, Liberal, Jacob House, Hooker, Okla., Hali House, Tyrone, Okla., Zane House, Tyrone, Okla., Ezekiel House, Kismet, Eliana House, Kismet, Lane House, Marysville, Cole Barnes and wife, Lillian, Yukon, Okla., Lillian Barnes, Yukon, Okla., and Everly Barnes, Yukon, Okla.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Esther, Riva, Betty, and Jody; brothers, Ronald and Charlie; and many nieces and nephews.
• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal, with Reverend Jeff Mitchell presiding.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Flores, Okla.
