ELKHART – Darvin L. Patrick, 67, died April 1, 2025 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Aug. 22, 1958 to Allen and Beulah (Miller) Patrick.
He married Emma Coonfield in 1978.
He owned and operated D’s Tires for more than 25 years and worked at Best One Tires in Liberal for the past five and a half years.
He loved to ride motorcycles, go fishing, and visit with friends.
He enjoyed watching cartoons and movies with his kids.
His favorite pastime was driving around the countryside and taking in the prairie landscapes.
Survivors include his mother; girlfriend, Deanna Grey, Elkhart; son, Shawn Patrick and wife, Tina Peet, Wichita; daughters: Erin Forward, Hugoton, Laura Patrick, Garden City, and Breeann Patrick, Garden City; siblings: Elveta and husband, Luke Bishop, Albuquerque, N.M., Kristi Patrick, Elkhart, Bret Patrick, Denver, Jeff Peebler, Denver, Darcy Seaton, Lowell, Ind., and Shelley Poteet, Salida, Colo.; grandchildren: Arielle Peet, Elizabeth Newmon, Matisyn Newmon, Isabella Newmon, Oliver Forward, Bradley Love, Gage Patrick, and Weston Love; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
• Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the First Church of God in Elkhart with Reverend James Tower presiding.
