Raymond Rodriguez, 71, died March 26, 2025 in Midland, Texas.

He was born Aug. 21, 1953 in Garden City.

He was a man full of kindness, love and joy, and was always happy to be around family.

He enjoyed spending time with his sister Irene and going to Bingo.

He was a collector of many treasures and was always collecting things and giving gifts to friends and family.

He enjoyed rock music, especially La Puerta Negra.

He was a funny, outgoing, cheerful man who easily made friends. He always managed to get a smile out of friends and family.

Survivors include brother, Adelaido "Larry" Rodriguez; sisters: Ida Fernandez, Irene Flores and Blossie Love; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, "Lalo"; mother, "Blossie"; and brothers: Johnny Encinias, Richard Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, and Robert Rodriguez.

• Funeral services took place Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Mayberry Funeral Home in Midland, Texas, with Pastor Chris Rodriguez presiding. Pallbearers were Adam Fernandez, Salvador Mora, Carlos Hernandez, Rene Hernandez, Robert Mora, Larry Martinez, and Pastor Chris Rodriguez.
