Alvin Glenn “Al” Webber, 95, died May 29, 2025, in Bentonville, Ark.

He was born April 8, 1930 to Glen and Florence Webber in Hugoton.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and carried his love for aviation into his career. He retired from Boeing as an aviation engineer after a long and distinguished career that took him to many different places.

He was an avid trap shooter and could often be found at gun clubs around the region participating in shoots and other events.

He also enjoyed flying his airplane, boating, and tinkering, whether it was fixing something broken or adjusting the television.

He had a knack for storytelling and never met anyone he didn’t like.

During the winter months, he and his wife Betty Jo would head to Arizona where he enjoyed coffee outings, shooting events, golf games, or simply visiting with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo (BJ) Webber, Bella Vista, Ark.; daughter, Mindee (Wally) Limon, Liberal; stepdaughter, Linda (Russell) Brown, Grove, Okla.; stepson, Allen Hastings, Kansas, Okla.; grandchildren: Ambrosia (Jonathan) Tull, Ariana Limon, William Limon, and Teresa Limon, all of Liberal, Anysia (Daniel) Navarrete and Anneleise Limon, all of Lawrence, Dylan (Katie) Brown and Katrina Rains, Wichita, and Dustyn (Whitney) Brown and Mandi Brown of Grove, Okla.; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Webber; and sisters, Doris Backus and Elsie Webber.
